Term 2 Week 1

Term 2 Week 1 Reflection Blog  Inquiry - Eels                          This week Matt and Bridget came into our classroom again to guide us with our action plans. Me, Sophie, Polly and Katelyn are going to make a Tuna Townhouse. Our Tuna Townhouse will have a brick with x2 earthenware pipes inside. To camouflage it, there will be coconut matting on top.    Twitter Chapter Chat 17- Fish in a Tree   This week, the batten team got a Twitter account. Room 4 have done 2 Tweets. I have like about 13 Tweets and commented 3 times. Fish in a Tree is a book by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. It is about a girl with dyslexia called Ally. She went to 7 schools in 7 years. .

Production Post ~ My favourite scene/part Kia Ora!  Yesterday, O.L.A School performed 'Goodbye My Friend'. Goodbye My Friend is a play by Andrew Oxspring.  Being a British play, there was a few tweaks to be made, like the song, SAT's Blues (Standard Achievement Test), had to be changed to PAT's Blues ( Progress and Achievement Test).  The lead actors for the whole play were: Ben- James Ali- Maeve Emma- Millie Rachel- Ciara Mrs Bee- Efa Mr R- Luca My favourite scene was The Nativity Scene. The characters in that scene were: - 3 Sheppard's  - Mary &  Joseph  -The Donkey -3 Wise men -A doll  The storyline was this- The year 8's were looking back on their past at primary school. Stuff like Christmas, School trips, Shows, being an infant (Yr's 1-2), and other crazy stuff were all woven into the play.  Energetic and humorous,  the production was a great success, over 560 tickets were sold, at $10 each! That gives us money to spend on
