Korfball
This week Korfball Canterbury came to O.L.A. to teach us korfball. Korfball has ten rules:
-
no smacking the ball out of peoples hands
-
no physical contact
-
no running with the ball
-
girls mark and defend girls
-
boys mark and defend boys
-
if a boy marks or defends a girl then its handover
-
if a girl marks or defends a boy then its handover
-
no snatching the ball
-
no dribbling
-
two boys and two girls on at a time
In the first session we learnt that we aren't allowed to:
-
smack the ball out of other people's hands
-
no physical contact
-
no dribbling
-
no snatching the ball
-
two boys and two girls on at a time
In the second session we learnt:
-
no running with the ball
-
girls mark and defend girls
-
boys mark and defend boys
-
if a girl marks or defends a boy then its handover
-
if a boy marks or defends a girl then its handover
In the third and last session we just played games and subbed for all of the session.
I really enjoyed Korfball, ( not the bit were I falled over though )
